Who designed this dress and jacket?

The dress' label reads, Bob Bugnand for Sam Friedlander.

Bob Bugnand was a French designer born in 1924 as Antoine Bugnand. He began his career in fashion working under and learning from Jacques Heim and Robert Piquet. In the 1950s he opened his own couture shop in Paris, after its initial success a store in New York City followed. Bugnand's pieces were popular across Europe and New York with society ladies. Funnily enough Bob Bugnand was a favored couturier for First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy and wore a tweed suit by him during JFK's 1960 presidential campaign. Learn more about her suit here. Bugnand's pieces can be seen in fashion archives across the USA and Europe, such as those at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
