Lauren Lynch Wemple founded 21st & 18th in 2023. Beginning her professional life in the arts working in museums in London, England and later Changzhou, China, LLW has always had a love of art and history. After departing the museum sector she joined the tech sector working at SaaS startups in enterprise sales, tech then brought her to global fashion where she successfully built and led DTC brands. While grinding in tech and retail, she yearned for escape at the end of each work day. Her idea of the perfect escape? Time travel to visit her favorite historical figures and artists.
